Firstly, the camera ergonomics are good. The camera is stable and reassuringly weighty but not so much to become a burden. Not quite pocketable in a pair of jeans but quickly in a jacket or small bag.
The controls and operation are all smooth and feel reliable and high quality. The front dial for changing settings such as zoom, aperture, or speed, depending on the model, is straightforward to use. There are two modes, clicker and smooth. If you change it over to smooth operation, it becomes a bit vague, and zooming seems to take a lot of turning from one end to the other.

The mode dial and exposure compensation dial have excellent resistance to turning.
The LCD screen is excellent. It’s nice and bright with plenty of detail and has all the information you would need. It can be customized to show the modes and information you want—busy scenes. Image stabilization is beneficial and lets you get great shots even at low speeds handheld.
I love this camera. So easy to use, very functional, great in low light. Fantastic as an SLR replacement for trips where you have restricted luggage. Amazing photos and super fast speed!
It’s so easy to use. The presets are task-based and focus on real-world scenarios, resulting in fantastic pictures of whatever you’re trying to capture.
Colour reproduction and image quality are both fantastic, possibly better than the DSLR we own.
