SD card located in the battery compartment is a terrible idea; covers on these compartments have a habit of breaking easily.
So easy to hit the record button accidentally, it is in a terrible location. Deleting a photo on the camera takes ages, best to do later when SD card plugged in, downloads from the camera to phone is very slow.
Many useful features and settings are still working my way through them; you can use 4 rechargeable Duracell batteries, which do last well.
Zoom works well, many close-ups.
The settings are very straightforward and easy to get the hang of, perfect if you are starting in photography. If you are a bit more advanced, this can take you pretty far too. It’s very portable,
Great for close up shots for any bakers or botanists, as well as mid-range shots for scenes or portraits, and does magnificent landscapes and far shots. The zoom is incredible, for faraway subjects as well as close up details.
Plenty of scene options. First time of using, went for the `moon` setting. Impressive, but you will need a tripod to make life easier at full zoom! Picture quality is excellent, and the camera fits comfortably in hand as long as you do not have huge hands! The only downside is finding access to the batteries and HDMI/AV sockets a bit flimsy, but time will tell.
