In my own opinion, this is a flawed product that needs a lot of reworks before it should be on the market. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get my 4-camera Arlo Pro 2 system up and running, and I’ve now given up. The main problem is that all of the cameras work fine for perhaps 1-2 days, and then they go offline, and nothing can make them come back online again, other than reinstalling the entire system from scratch. It’s simply not feasible to keep taking the cameras down every couple of days so they can re-sync with the base station. I bought this product to work – not as a permanent hobby to keep playing with and tweaking so that it stays functional.

I’m highly IT literate – it’s my job – and I’ve spent a lot of time with Arlo support trying to get the thing working. But it doesn’t deliver the goods, I’m afraid. When all the cameras go offline, they stay offline, and the only effective treatment is a complete reinstall that keeps them working for a couple of days at most.

I’ve also bought a load of accessories, and they will also be going back, as they’re no use to me whatsoever. My advice if you consider purchasing this product is to make sure it works in situ first, before splashing out on mounts and drilling holes in your walls.
