Ridiculously crisp 24mm as you’d expect from a Sony GM. Lush bokeh, fast AF, just a joy to use. You have the option of a manual aperture, as I’m old enough to have learned the trade with film cameras. It feels perfect in the hand and way lighter, as you’d expect, then the other zoom 24mm GM options.
Everyone raves about this lens, but I didn’t expect to be blown away as much as I was. I’m new to the 24mm focal length, and I shoot weddings with 35/55/85 currently. I am sure this will see a lot of use from now on.
High-speed autofocus. Extremely sharp image, and it gives a great contrast.

Fantastic lens; I love this lens; I thought long and hard about this as it was going to be my final lens, one I could grab and go, and I am no means disappointed. Fantastic quality, crisp and clear image, light and very portable unlike my 200-600, very please, couldn’t recommend this lens enough.
It is an excellent lens that is a pleasure to use. It works well in low light or at night. It is my go-to lens when photographing or filming the aurora.
I love it, and when I look at it. I’m switching to Sony.
