Reviews

Changed from full-frame Canon 6D to OMD ii – its well-built and stable but light and small, the only physical element to get used to is getting the hands around it for grip as a lot lower than 6D. The Menu system in-camera for setting up was better.

Still, there is no doubt while on the go changing things in the Menu’s will take a bit of getting used to as not as intuitive as Canon SLR. But some serene settings for dials which make life a lot easier, so far the results have been very good with the pictures, and the Olympus Viewer 3 software for your PC very easy to use when uploading / viewing shots.

You can get superb quality images, and it is half the size of those old-fashioned DSLR’s make sure you pay for the right lenses, and you will be delighted with the results. It is quick – easy – and lightweight.

An excellent camera that will compliment my OM-D E-M10 Mark III All four of my Olympus lenses work exceptionally well with both bodies – as you would expect. Have not put it through its paces yet, but even the ‘snaps’ are of excellent image quality. Image stabilization makes a big difference, especially in windy weather! All in all the micro four-thirds is a great ‘little’ system and super quality.

The image stabilization system is the first-rate, and the pictures, with Olympus lenses, are excellent.
