Product description

Featuring a vary-angle 3.5″ Touchscreen Display, 24MP APS-C sensor, and smooth 4K video recording, the Fujifilm x-a7 is the must camera for any content creator or vlogger. The 24.2 MP APS-C sensor, which is 14 times larger than a smartphone sensor, produces stunning results whatever the light. There are 425 AF points, and thanks to phase-detection pixels across the entire sensor, the x-a7 has a swift, accurate AF capable of quickly detecting and tracking eyes and faces even in low light. The Cinema like 4K recording made by shooting 6K and downsampling to get the maximum quality possible. Also, there is no additional crop, which means you can quickly get yourself and others in the frame when shooting video. The rear of the camera has a super responsive 3.5 inch LCD touchscreen, which has a maximum luminous intensity of approximately 1000 candela, which allows you to see the ‘live view’ even in strong daylight.

Top reviews

For a non-professional photographer, this camera makes a huge difference.

The simplicity of the camera is just amazing.

The fact you can charge it with a USB C is fantastic!

We needed a professional camera that we can also zoom in within our demos. If you update the camera firmware, you can connect it with USB to the PC, and it turns onto a webcam! You can zoom in and out. Moreover, the quality is fantastic. This feature alone made this camera an army Swiss knife for me.

On webcam mode, you can’t change any of the settings. You have to change the settings before connecting it to the PC

The headline is good stuff great; clear, sharp, well-exposed photos. Impressive. So is the low light photography. Sharp, focused pictures with very little noise taken at random. At 24mp, it’s reasonable to shoot at 16:9, too, as you throw away very little. And it is small and incredibly light—a good, light travel camera for anyone and a right choice for those getting into photography.

There is no viewfinder, just a 3.5 on the screen, large for a camera this size. It indeed turns up to a high brightness, which is blinding indoors (and simple to quickly change the brightness)

. One may be a bug [* Noa clumsy interface. See edit in next paragraph]. In the main (simplified) screen menu, one of the options is called “Exposure Compensation”. There are no numbers, and you change it by touching the screen (nearly impossibly small touch area) or using the joystick. (The joystick, by the way, is excellent, and why don’t all cameras have one? Most things you’ll end up using the joystick to change things after the touch screen to select them).
